Honestly, even though it has natural sanitizing properties I just don’t feel that “clean feel” after using it on my counter tops.
My constant search for easy, affordable, non toxic cleaning products always brought me back to vinegar concoctions or returning to the cleaning products aisle at Target for all the Method & Mrs. Meyers products (which I really like and actually still use some thanks to Grove Collaborative but hello $$$ when you are constantly cleaning and heavy handed with the sprays like I am). This was my life until I discovered something that blew – my – mind!

Everyone has heard of microfiber now. What's the big deal right?
Microfiber in the US legally has to be 1/6th the size of a human hair.
That is pretty small for the width of a fiber, now think about a fiber, like a strand of thread that is at least 1/200th the size of a human hair. What !?! Well with a width that small and a cloth full of 1,000s of miles of fiber (yes in one cloth! Stretch it out and it will reach from Canada down to Mexico.) the sheer density of the cloth alone gives it amazing power to clean, really clean the surfaces it touches Make it wet with water and BAM! You have the ability to remove up to 99% of the bacteria from the surfaces it cleans. Wet with what? Water only!
This is what you get with a Norwex Microfiber Envirocloth!
The first time I cleaned my own kitchen with an Envirocloth I was shouting out to my family to come look and feel the counters. They were so clean! I started telling everyone I knew, anyone who would listen about this amazing new to me cleaning product!
A Norwex Envirocloth is guaranteed with a two year warranty – this one cloth will last at least 2 years with proper use and care (super easy by the way, basically wash with free and clear detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener or softner sheets, dry in the dryer, wash with regular clothes not towels – that’s it).
Talk about saving time and money. No more spray cleaner needed. No more cleaning wipes to throw away all the time. I ended up buying several cloths because even though there is no evidence of cross contamination I still like to keep a bathroom cleaning cloth and an everywhere else cleaning cloth. I mean yuck...right!?! I won't clean my kitchen counters with the same cloth I use in my bathroom even after I watch all the no cross contamination demo videos I can get my eyes on, I just can not do it. Also I have some extra on hand so I always have one when one is in the wash. Oh speaking of washing – these cloths self purify!
With microsilver technology called BackLock you just rinse these cloths in warm water, hang them to dry between uses and they are clean and ready to go again. I only wash them in the washer about once a week.
