I live by my lists. I am an avid Bullet Journal user and list making junkie so you can imagine my own surprise when I decided to start using a grocery list app and discovered it is an effective, time efficient tool for the whole family! We just lived through a big move across many miles and states. As with any move there is so much involved with "setting up house" in your new location. Especially for us, we moved after 18 years in the same home so we did a LOT of purging. In addition to that our new home is not equipped with things like ceiling lights? I don't know about you but where I come from that is just a given. I need light. I have learned in this area, it is common for homes to come with lots of outlets (bonus!) but no ceiling lights. Add lamps to the list! We had a lot to manage and faced many store runs in the process. During one of these trips I realized how helpful it would be to have a handy app so anyone in the family could add something to the list the minute they thought of it. My search for an app began and I settled on OurGroceries. There are many list apps out there this one was a good fit for us. I like how you can make multiple lists and also categorize within the lists. When you check some thing off the list it just drops to the bottom with a line through it. At this point you can choose to delete it or if it something you purchase regularly (like milk) leave it and when you need to add it back to the list just click and voila! it is back on the list in the category you assigned. Also - pro tip - we do not just use this for groceries, we use it for all our household needs! Super easy FREE time saver. You do have to:
Share your sign on with your family and have them all sign in using the same email address and password. Then you can all work off the same lists. As far as I know there is no limit to how many people can sign on to your account. Do you use any family/home management apps? Please share them in the comments! I am always looking for ways to save time. “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
