Have you been wondering how to make your posts easily shareable on facebook, or instagram or twitter?
In this post you will learn how to make and use those "share post" icons so people can just click and share your blog posts directly through and to social media?
#thesosblog is powered by Weebly and as do most other web building sites there is an option to add "social share icons".
With all social share icons you will need to provide a url address. This activates the icon allowing people to click on it and be directed to the url address you have linked.
Until recently the only url address I could find for my social sites was the url that led directly to my own social sites.
What I wanted was a url can post/share my actual blog posts to other people's social media sites.
I have GOOD NEWS - problem solved and I am sharing this information with you FOR FREE!
This is an amazing, FREE, Share Link Creator helping you make your posts easily shareable to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more!
You do need to publish your post. Copy the live url. Use your live url when generating the links to share your post.
What I do is:
1. Publish my post
2. Generate my links using the Free & Secure Share Link Creator
3. Go back in to my blog and ad the social share links and update the post.
Make sure you receive my FREE step by step guide for creating clickable social share links for your blog posts!
I always create these clickable social share links prior to promoting my new posts!
I hope this was helpful! If so please comment and let me know! Also - SHARE the post using the links I generated with the Free Link Generator I just shared with you!
Happy Blogging! Do you have any tips to share? I would love to know and possibly share them here as a guest post. #thesosblog is actively looking for guest bloggers and regular contributors.
*this post has been updated to include a secure Share Link Creator. The Previous Share Link Generator was flagged as an insecure site by Google Chrome and Fire Fox. Thankfully links that were generated using the old tool are secure, it was only the site itself that was not secure.
Thank you to our loyal reader, Mariana, for emailing #thesosblog , informing us of this issue and also providing this alternate, secure tool from Website Planet for our readers! We love community and this is what community is all about! Thank you Mariana!
